CookiesPolicy
What cookies we use, why we use them, and how to change your preferences.
Last updated: 23 April 2026 · Applies to: tonnie.ai and all subdomains.
You can change your cookie preferences at any time via the cookie settings link in our footer. cookie settings link in our footer.
1. O que é um cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. Cookies let the site recognise your device on return visits, remember your preferences, and measure how the site is used. Some technologies work similarly (local storage, pixels, SDKs in our mobile app) — this policy covers them collectively.
2. Categories of cookies we use
We group cookies into four categories following EU guidelines:
2.1 Strictly necessary
Required for the Service to work. Cannot be switched off. Examples: session cookies that keep you logged in, CSRF protection tokens, load-balancer cookies. No consent required.
2.2 Functional
Enable personalisation: remember your language, your destination country, whether you’ve dismissed the onboarding tour. You can disable these, though the Service will feel less tailored.
2.3 Analytics
Help us understand how the Service is used in aggregate. We use privacy-focused analytics with IP anonymisation and no cross-site tracking. We do not sell this data.
2.4 Marketing
Set only with your explicit consent. Used to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and to show you relevant content on third-party platforms. We do not run remarketing on sensitive topics (immigration status, financial hardship).
3. Current cookies — at a glance
Representative list (exact names and durations may change — the definitive list is always available via the cookie settings panel in the footer):
| Name | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
tonnie_session |
Strictly necessary | Keeps you logged in between page loads | Session |
csrf_token |

4. Manage your preferences
You have three ways to manage cookies:
- Tonnie cookie settings — click “Cookie Settings” in the footer or in the banner shown on your first visit. Accept all, reject non-essential, or customise by category.
- Browser settings — block or delete cookies in your browser preferences. Every major browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) offers this.
- Do Not Track — we respect DNT signals for analytics and marketing cookies.
Disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent core features (login, payment) from working.

5. Mobile app
The Tonnie mobile app does not set browser cookies. It uses equivalent technologies (device storage, analytics SDKs) under the same categories and consent rules. You can manage analytics and marketing consent from the app’s Settings> Privacy screen.
6. Changes to this policy
If we change the cookies we use, we update this page and, for material changes, trigger a new consent banner. The “Last updated” date always reflects the current version.
